As per the elgibilty criteria of Gujarat PGCET 2018, the candidate should have:

• Qualified B.E/B.Tech in their particular disciplines with at least of 50% in aggregate (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC category) and and B.Pharm with at least 55% marks (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC candidates) for M.Pharm programme.
• Applicants should have done their Class 12th examination and qualifying examination in the state of Gujarat
• Aspirants who have qualified in GATE should also apply online and are excused from the entrance test.
• Candidates should note down that 5% of the seats are reserved for students from outside Gujarat.

In india there is state wise post graduate entrance test like karnataka pgcet, telengana pgcet , andhra pradesh pgcet etc. admission to m.tech program can be done by gate or pgcet exam, however gate qualified students are given priority for certain counselling. so even if with out appearing in gate you may proceed to apply for m.tech program by giving the state wise entrance test or institute wise entrance exam.

As prescribed by ACPC, the eligibility criteria of Gujarat PGCET 2018 for candidates is provided below :

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 qualifying exam or any other equivalent in the relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST / SEBC categories).

• Candidates need to have qualified GATE exam in the relevant discipline, they are applying for admission.
