i have done same mistake and do mail to different iits also but didn't get any reply

This year paper was little easy one. So the cutoff for all PSUs will not come to lower than 70 marks more chance is that it will be even more than 75. So by getting 40.33 you have very low chances for getting any psu for this marks.

Your rank is bit good.As per the previous year cutoffs you have a less chance of getting the call from the PSUs as you have the advantage of ST category.The PSUs which may call you are IOCL,ONGC,NHAI,etc.If you don't get a call then you should prefer to take
