If you have improvement in marks then in the new marksheet there will be present the new marks. If you have no improvement or if you have less marks in your improvement marksheet then you have nothing to worry about, you will be awarded the same marks in the Improvement marksheet. It is not a major problem unless you cross the maximum age limit set up by some of the colleges. During the counselling you need to carry a self attested affidavit claiming that you have wrongly filed the date of birth with authentic proof of your actual date of birth.

The verification officer will take the document in consideration and will most probably allow you to confirm changes in dob. But remember the final decision is in the hands of verification officer and he has all the rights to deny your admission.
