Hello Justin..
Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) is a three-year undergraduate programme that teaches the fundamentals of computer application and software development.
Both merit-based and entrance exam-based admission approaches are used for BCA Admission 2021.
All Top BCA Colleges have a minimum BCA eligibility requirement of 50% in a 10+2 or comparable examination with computer application/computer science as an extra or core subject.
BCA Courses are also available as BCA Online and BCA Distance Education for people who want to study BCA while working full-time or on their own schedule.
BCA requires a minimum of 50% in a 10+2 or comparable examination with computer application/science as a second subject.
The cost of a BCA degree might range from INR 2 lakhs to INR 3 lakhs, depending on which university the applicant wishes to attend.
Students who wish to study BCA from abroad must apply for language tests such as IELTS, PTE, or TOEFL, as well as other eligibility assessments.
BCA Online Courses can also be found on sites like Coursera, edX, and others.
The BCA syllabus contains programming and networking topics. Hardware Lab, Operating Systems, Data Structures, Computer Networks, OOAD Using UML, Client-Server Computing, and others are some of the topics that students will encounter during their BCA courses.
MCA Courses are the most popular courses after BCA.
Students who are certain they want to study MCA following BCA can enrol in the BCA-MCA Integrated programme, which is provided by just a few institutes in India.
After completing BCA, students can work as software developers, system analysts, IT technical support developers, and other BCA jobs in prominent tech organisations, earning an average of INR 2.5 LPA to INR 6 LPA.
The following are the core BCA eligibility criteria for the BCA admission process:
In Class 12, the student must have a cumulative grade point average of 50 percent or higher in any stream (Arts, Science, or Commerce), with English and Mathematics as required subjects.
Some colleges accept students who have finished class 12 without taking Math or English as required subjects.
The minimum age to enrol in a BCA programme is 18 years old, but this is not required in all universities. Admission to the BCA programme has no maximum age limit.
The admission tests for BCA Admission 2021 are held at both the national and state levels. GGSIPU, for example, holds its own admission exam to enrol students in the BCA programme. Registration for BCA Admissions 2021 typically begins in March 2021, but some universities begin their registration process earlier. IPU-CET SET is an entrance exam that you may have to take.
I hope this information helps.
Regards.
