BBEC college is one of the best engineering colleges in assam.

Your rank in cee 2019 is 3039, though you're from ST category, I'm sorry to inform you that you can not get into BBEC mechanical branch, as your rank is very high.

So, I suggest you can try for the other colleges which are under cee so you can get admissions into them.

Well, securing 3039 rank in CEE 2019 may not be sufficient for getting admission in a government college for B.Tech mechanical engineering. But still you can give it a try at the time of counseling since you're a ST candidate . And also if you're a resident of Assam, then home state quota can also be applied.

But there are also several constituent and private colleges in Assam where you can apply for opting mechanical engineering.

Do not worry about that according to this year norms any student whether he is 1year lagged or not can attempt to assam cee. He also eligible to write the assam cee. So I suggest you to pass your 12th this year and prepare for cee and other competitive exams like jee and appear for cee next year. Please do comment for more doubts.

The application form will be available on the official website in the first week of July. The candidates must download the application form from the official website of DTE Assam/ Assam CEE and take the printout in A4 size paper. The application form is divided into three parts –

Form A – Application Form

Form B – Institution Preference Form

Form C – Admission Record Sheet

Since there is eligibility criteria in AssamCEE that you must secure an aggregrate of 50% in PCM and if you belong to SC then you be selected for counselling but iin case of general you wont be able to get a seat 

• The candidates are required to score aggregate 50% collectively in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• SC candidates will have to secure 45% marks
• while ST candidates will have to score 40% marks.

Assam CEE 2019 was conducted by Assam Science and Technology University. Assam CEE Admit Card has been released on April 16. The entrance examination was held in offline mode on April 28, 2019 for all eligible candidates to provide undergraduate engineering admissions into the participating institutes. The application form of Assam CEE 2019 was available in online mode till March 30. Assam CEE will be conducted for 3 hours in which various questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be asked to test the candidate’s ability. 

Cutoff marks of Assam CET for general category is expected to be around 74.
