    Sorry to say but your rank is bit high!! As ASTU have released the merit list of 1st counseling which is starting from 10th of june. As per your rank and as you belong to ST(p) you are eligible in the counseling. You may get government colleges depending on respective situation if there remains any seat in 1st phase of counseling then there are little chances for you to get the colleges. Hope it helped you.

    One is eligible or not for CEE counseling process is decided by the merit list announced by the concerned authorities.
    The merit list consist of the rank cutoff for each day of counseling.
    So I will advice you to keep an eye on the official website of CEE as the merit list might be announced soon.

    Hope you are doing well!! As ASTU have released the merit list, and the counseling is starting from 10th of june. As per your rank you are eligible in 1st counseling as they given the limitation upto 2348. And regarding your query you will be able to get a government college. But you will not get Assam Engineering college (AEC), you can get Jorhat engineering college (JEC) and Jorhat institute of science and technology (JIST). Hope these helped you.

    Hello Ankurjyoti,

    You got decent enough marks to get engineering college. With your rank, you cannot get government college or admission some top private institutes. You can get admission in some of the mildly or un-rated college.

    Don't lose hope still, you can try for admission at a good college.

    As you have secured 4292  rank in CEE Assam 2019 which in itself is not much pretty good enough to secure a seat in Assam CEE.
    So, it's a bit difficult for you to get admitted in one of the Colleges under CEE.
    However, you can try for other Institute under Assam which take intake through CEE.

    As you have  secured 5672 (St category) in Assam CEE 2019 which in itself is very poor and ofcurse it's very hard for you to make it to any college under Assam.
    But definitely you acan try for other colleges in Assam which takes intake through CEE.

    Hope you are doing well!! See ASTU have provided the merit list and if you have checked the merit list details then with your rank you are not eligible for 1st counseling as for general category the limitation of rank is upto 1285. Wait for 2nd counseling, after completion of 1st counseling if there remains any seat then you will be eligible depending on the situation. Hope these helped you.

    See your rank is bit high to get you into government colleges under CEE. But keep some hope if you get any. As you belong to SC category then also it will be tough for you to get those colleges. Merit list and all the counseling details, cut off has been published . And regarding your query it has been published for 1st counseling and rank they have provided for SC category is under 3000 and your rank is above 3000. If any seats remain after completion of 1st counseling then there is little chances for you to get a seat in 2nd counseling. Hope for the best and if you are not selected in any government colleges then you can go with private colleges. Hope these helped you.

    Assam CEE 2019 Counselling is starting from 10th June 2019. It is organized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Assam. The counselling is conducted through offline mode. Assam CEE is a state level entrance exam to get admission in the engineering colleges of the state. Assam Common Entrance Exam (CEE) is conducted once in every year by the Assam Science & Technology University (ASTU), Assam.     First of all congratulations on securing a good rank in CEE exam. See ASTU have published the merit list and the counseling is starting from 10th of june, and as per your rank you are eligible for 1st counseling. And regarding your query it's totally depending on the other students which college they are choosing. As per previous year cut off most probably you will be able to get Jorhat engineering college (JEC), it will be tough to get Assam Engineering college (AEC) as you belong to general category and to get AEC your rank should be under 600 as it is counted on top of the colleges under CEE.
