which exam paper is same as Assam Cee engeenering

S. Saha Student Expert 15th Aug, 2020
Assam CEE is a state level engineering entrance exam and the syllabus of the exam is as same as the syllabus of Class 11 and 12. The exam paper consists three sections - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Only multiple choice questions will be asked from these three subjects which is almost same as other Engineering entrance exams. So for your practice, you can solve past years' Jee Main question papers. But Jee Main is a national level entrance examination, so this is a level higher than Assam CEE. But other state level Engineering Entrance examinations like WBJEE, AP/TS EAMCET, MHTCET, UPSEE have almost same level of difficulty in questions. So you solve question papers of the aforesaid exams to boost your preparation.
The syllabus is as follows-

  • Mathematics-
Complex numbers and quadratic equations
Matrices and determinants
Sets, relations and functions
Mathematical induction
Permutations and combinations
Mathematical reasoning
Limit, continuity and differentiability
Integral calculus

Am I eligible for Assam CEE if I give betterment in 3 subjects?

NITIN SHARMA 25th Jul, 2020

hello

As you may be knowing that class 12 is considered as an eligibility criteria for getting admitted in CEE .

  • The candidates are required to score aggregate 50% collectively in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • SC candidates will have to secure 45% marks
  • while ST candidates will have to score 40% marks.

Now if you couldn't score this percentage then you can give improvement exam and score better to fulfill the eligibility criteria.

So, yes ofcurse they will take your best of two result..ie either 1st attempt or the betterment one according to which is better.
