if you are from open quota then there is no chance to get admission in Amrita college. there are 7890 is the last rank for chemical engineering in Coimbatore campus according to last year cut off.
you have to work hard and better luck for the next time,

according to your rank, you can get surely admission in Bangalore campus under home state quota, if you belong to other states then there is no chance to get admission.
last year cut off for the home state is 10354 and other state is 6767 for CSE.

From the rank you secured, there is a chance of getting admit for civil Enginerrig at Amrita, Coimbatore. For other courses, there is a very little chance. Anyways you can try your maximum since the admit will be based on the availability of seats for your preferred course.
