About JKCET 2024

JKCET 2024 - JKBOPEE has released the JKCET 2024 counselling schedule online at jkbopee.gov.in. The authority will conduct the JKECT counselling rank-wise in offline mode. The JKCET counselling for round 1 will be held from June 30 to July 2, 2024. Students who have qualified the exam can participate in the JKCET 2024 counselling and admission process. Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination declared the JKCET 2024 result on June 24, 2024. The JKCET result 2024 is available as a merit list on the official website, jkbopee.gov.in. The JKCET merit list includes the roll number, ranks, names and marks of the candidates. The JKCET 2024 exam was held on June 9.

The JKCET 2024 answer key on June 9. The JKCET answer key pdf download link is available on the official website. Moreover, candidates were able to raise objections to the provisional JKCET answer key 2024 by June 12. To object to the answer key of JKCET 2024, candidates had to submit a written application along with proof to the BOPEE office before the due date.

The authority issued the JKCET 2024 admit card on June 5, 2024. The JKCET admit card link is updated on the official website, jkbopee.gov.in. Candidates can download the admit card for JKCET 2024 from June 5 to 9, 2024. The authority will conduct the JKCET 2024 on June 9, 2024.

The authority concluded the JKCET 2024 registration process on May 26, 2024. Candidates could fill out the application form of JKCET 2024 on the website, jkbopee.gov.in. The JKCET 2024 registration portal was reactivated on May 24, 2024. Candidates who have qualified 10+2th from a recognized statutory Board/University with a minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/ST, and other Socially and Educationally Backward Classes) could apply for JKCET 2024. Applicants appearing for the exam are advised to go through the JKCET 2024 exam pattern and syllabus for their preparations.

JKBOPEE concluded the JKCET 2024 application form online on May 26, 2024 on the official website. Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility conditions could apply for JKCET 2024. The application process comprises registration, filling application form, uploading documents and payment of the JKCET application fee. The documents required to be uploaded in the application form are photographs, signatures, left thumb impressions and other documents. Candidates must complete the JKCET registration 2024 before the last date. Steps to fill out the JKCET application form 2024 are given below.

How to fill JKCET 2024 application form?

Candidates can refer to the steps to fill out the application form for JKCET 2024.

Registration: The first step is to complete the JKCET 2024 registration using personal details like name, gender, date of birth and others. After successful JKCET registration, the application number and other details will be sent to the candidate's registered email ID. 

Filling application form: After successful registration, applicants have to fill in details in the application form of JKCET. Applicants have to fill in their communication details, educational qualifications and other details. Applicants must fill all the details in the application form carefully as authorities will not provide any correction facility later. 

Payment of fee: The next step is to pay the JKCET 2024 application fee in online mode. The JKCET application fee is Rs 1200 for all the candidates. The application fee can be paid through net banking/credit card/debit card.

Uploading documents: After successful payment of the fee, applicants have to upload the required documents as per the specified format.

The authority has released the JKCET 2024 eligibility criteria along with the official notification. Applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling out the JKCET application for 2024. The eligibility criteria of JKCET 2024 comprise age limit, educational qualification, marks required and others. In case any candidate fails to prove the eligibility criteria at the time of admission, his/her candidature will be cancelled. The eligible candidates will be able to apply for the JKCET exam. JKCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit – Candidates should be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2024. There is no upper age bar.

Domicile - The candidates should be permanent residents of J&K state.

Education Qualification – Should have qualified 10+2th (or equivalent) examination from a recognized statutory Board/University. Those candidates who will be appearing for the qualifying examination in 2024 will also be allowed to participate. English. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics should have been studied and qualified by the candidates.

Minimum Marks Required – At least 50% marks should have been secured in the qualifying exam by the candidates belonging to Open Merit including the Children of Defence Personnel, Children of Paramilitary Forces, Children of State Police Personnel, and candidates possessing outstanding proficiency in Sports in the qualifying exam. For SC/ST and other Socially and Educationally Backward Classes candidates, the mark required is 40%.

The exam authority has released the provisional JKCET answer key on June 9. The JKCET answer key 2024 is updated on the official website, jkbopee.gov.in. With the help of the answer key of JKCET 2024, candidates can calculate their estimated score before the declaration of the result. The authorities have allowed the candidates to raise objections to the JKCET answer key by June 12. After considering all the objections raised by the candidates, the exam authorities will release the JKCET 2024 final answer key along with the result. 

JKBOPEE has declared the JKCET result 2024 online at the official website, jkbopee.gov.in. The result cum merit list of JKCET 2024 consists of the name of the candidates along with their corresponding category, roll number, marks, and obtained rank. The authorities prepare the merit list cum result according to the performance in the Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test. Based on the JKCET 2024 exam result, admissions into the participating institutes will be conducted.

In case a candidate has any objection against the JKCET 2024 merit list, they can raise an objection personally at the Board office in Jammu/Srinagar during working days within the specified time period. On the basis of rank in the merit list, candidates will be allotted seats in the desired degree programme. The qualifying candidates will have to participate in the JKCET counselling process.

The authority will conduct the JKCET counselling in offline mode. The JKCET counselling for round 1 will be held from June 30 to July 2, 2024. Candidates need to physically report to the JKBOPEE office to participate in the counselling and seat allotment rounds. The JKCET counselling will be conducted rank-wise. Allotment of seats will be done as per the candidate’s merit, preference, and availability of seats. 

Allotted candidates have to report to their respective institutes to complete the admission formalities which include document verification. In case vacant seats are left after the online Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test counselling, the authorities will conduct a separate mop-up round.
