GATE Toppers List 2025 (Out) - Branch wise Toppers Names and Rank, Interview

GATE Toppers 2025: IIT Roorkee released the list of GATE 2025 topper on March 25. The link to check the GATE toppers list is updated on the website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. As per the toppers list for GATE 2025, Rahul Kumar Singh secured AIR 1 in CSE with a GATE score of 1000. Moreover, the toppers for Mechanical, Electrical, and ECE are Rajneesh Bijarniya, Pradip Chauhan, and Swarnava Biswas. To check the toppers name for other papers check the topper list of GATE 2025. Those who obtain the highest marks in the GATE exam in their respective subjects become the GATE toppers 2025. IIT Roorkee conducted the GATE 2025 exam for 30 papers on February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2025. Candidates can check the GATE 2025 toppers for CE, CS, ME, EE and more subjects here.

PSU Recruitment Through GATE

Students who will be on the list of the GATE result 2025 toppers can also apply for jobs at PSUs. Students having valid GATE 2025 scores are recruited as entry-level trainee engineers in many PSUs like GAIL, BHEL, DRDO, and ISRO with high salaries.

M.Tech Admission through GATE 2025

Students who qualify for GATE with a valid score can take admission to courses like M.Tech/M.E./Ph.D. in institutes like IITs, NITs, IIITs, and many other institutes. Students admitted to these institutes with GATE 2025 scores are also entitled to a fellowship by the MHRD, Govt of India. Students have to apply through COAP for IIT M.Tech admission. Candidates will have to apply for CCMT for admission to NITs and IIITs apart from applying to the respective institutes.

In 2024, 6,53,292 students took the GATE exam, with around 1.29 lakh qualifying, resulting in a pass percentage of about 18%. In 2023, 5.17 lakh students took the exam, and around 1 lakh qualified, also resulting in a pass percentage of about 18%. In 2022, approximately 18.87% of students cleared the exam, with 597,030 students appearing and 112,678 qualifying.
