About AP ECET 2025

AP ECET 2025 - JNTU Anantapur will release the AP ECET 2025 notification at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET. It will consist of important details like the AP ECET exam date, application process, eligibility, test pattern and more. The authority will release the application form for AP ECET in online mode. Candidates seeking 2nd-year lateral entry to BTech or pharmacy courses in Andhra Pradesh will have to take the AP Engineering Common Entrance Test. The entire admission process consists of steps like registration, downloading the AP ECET admit card, clearing the exam and participating in counselling. 

JNTUA is expected to commence the AP ECET test procedure in March 2025. Candidates preparing for the exam should understand the exam pattern and syllabus of ECET 2025. Also, the authority has provided Andhra Pradesh ECET mock test on the official website for free. Candidates can download the pdf and practice for the exam using the ECET question papers as well.

About AP ECET:

Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) is an annual exam, held at the state level. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA) conducts the exam on behalf of APSCHE. Students aiming for B.Tech/B.Pharma lateral admission must take AP ECET. Only those who are Diploma holders in engineering or have a BSc degree in Mathematics are eligible to apply for second-year BTech courses available at AP ECET participating colleges.

Candidates should be of Indian nationality

Domicile
Should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh. and satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions.

Academic Specifications

  • The candidates should have a qualified Diploma in Engineering and Technology from the State Board of Technical Education of Andhra Pradesh State or any other Diploma from an AICTE-approved institution recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

OR

  • Should have qualified the 3-year B.Sc Degree exam with Mathematics as one of the subjects from a recognized University.
  • Those candidates who have not completed but will complete their Diploma before admission will also be able to apply for AP ECET 2025.

Marks Required
To be eligible for admissions, the candidates should have passed the Diploma in Engineering and Technology with a minimum of 45% marks (for the reserved category it is 40% marks).

The AP ECET 2025 application form will be provided on the official website. Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility conditions could fill out the AP ECET application form 2025. The application process includes registration, form filling, uploading documents, and payment of the ECET registration fee. How to Fill AP ECET Application Form 2025

Step 1 - Payment of Fee:
The first step is to complete the AP ECET application fee payment and fill basic details in online mode. Applicants will be able to pay the ECET 2025 application fee through credit card/debit card/net banking.  Candidates will also be able to pay the AP ECET application fee in offline mode at AP Online/ TS Online centres. 

Step 2 - Filling application form:
The next step is to fill details in the application form for AP ECET 2025. Applicants have to fill in details like personal details, category, qualifying examination, academic information and others. Candidates are also required to fill out the AP ECET exam centre choices in the application form. 

Step 3 - Uploading Documents
After filling all the details in the application form, applicants have to upload scanned images of photographs and signatures in the AP ECET application form. 

Step 4 - Preview and Submit Application Form
The final step is to check all the filled details in the AP ECET 2025 application form and submit the form.

Tie-Breaking Criteria of AP ECET 2025 Result for Engineering Stream

  • If there arises a tie among candidates in aggregate marks, then the following steps will be taken into action as per the order:

  • The candidate who has scored higher in the Engineering section will be given a higher rank.

  • If the tie is not broken, then the candidate who has scored more in Mathematics will be given a higher rank.

  • If the tie persists, the candidate who has secured more scores in Physics will be allotted a higher rank.

  • After the above steps, the candidate with a higher score in Chemistry will be given a higher rank.

  • If the tie is still not broken from the above points, then the older candidate will be given preference. 

Tie-Breaking Criteria of AP ECET 2025 Result for B.Sc Mathematics Stream

  • Candidates who secure higher marks in Mathematics will be allotted a higher rank.
