If there arises a tie among candidates in aggregate marks, then the following steps will be taken into action as per the order:
The candidate who has scored higher in the Engineering section will be given a higher rank.
If the tie is not broken, then the candidate who has scored more in Mathematics will be given a higher rank.
If the tie persists, the candidate who has secured more scores in Physics will be allotted a higher rank.
After the above steps, the candidate with a higher score in Chemistry will be given a higher rank.
If the tie is still not broken from the above points, then the older candidate will be given preference.
