yeah you can get civil branch in vellore and other better branches in chennai . but its better to go with your passion rather than the choice you are getting
I think with this much rank it would be around more than 4 lack per annum actually I have also given exam of vitee so I have a quite knowledge about its fee structure it was confusing for me also at that time

Without attended the VIT counselling you can't able to take admission in any of the campus of VIT. Even if by luck you can take admission then also you can't able to take any good branch because your rank is too high.
