So, with regard of you're query. In Campus Vellore, You cannot receive a CSE branch in any category with a rank of 31340, but you may get an IT, ECE, EE, or civil branch in category 4 or category 5. This data is derived from VIT Vellore's closing rank from the previous year.

Sorry to disappoint you, but the Vellore or Chennai campuses are unlikely to give CSE or IT with this rank. However, you might be admitted to the AP or Bhopal campus.

According to your rank it will be difficult for you to get admission in Vit Vellor with CSE branch in category 1 or category 2.
As per the previous year cutoff for Vellor campus in CSE branch for category 1 it was 1 ,000 (in 2021) and for category 2 it was 4,000 .(in 2021).
But you will get a chance for CSE branch in category 5.

According to your rank it will be difficult for you to get admission in Vellor as well as Chennai campus.
As per the previous year cutoff for Vellor campus in Civil branch it was 30,000 (in 2021).
And for Chennai campus you need to rank under 29,000 (in 2021) as per the previous year cutoff.

Looking at the previous year VITEEE cutoff for Computer Science and Engineering in Bioinformatics, the closing rank required in VITEEE exam to get CSE specialization in Bioinformatics was within 10K. So, you cannot get CSE Specialization in Bioinformatics in VIT Vellore in category 1. However, hyou can still get this branch by paying more fees in lower category like in category 4 or category 5.

In order to avail 100% scholarship in VIT you must score top rank in your board exams. 100% scholarships are awarded to first rank holders of State Board and Central Board students .
Furthermore, for the VITEEE rank holders of 1 to 50, the scholarship is 75% Tuition fee waiver for all the four years.
Furthermore., below are the eligibility criteria to get scholarship in VITEEE : Candidates must have cleared their class 12 examination and secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, or Biology . SC/ST students from Jammu and Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura need to have only secured 50% marks in PCMB.

As per your information, you scored 50 marks in VITEEE. Yes, you can get into VIT for Biotechnology . But with 50 marks out of 125 cannot tell about the exact rank because it always fluctuate . But approximately your rank will lie between the range of 6000-1000 with this score.

Chances of getting admission for above rank to cse or ece in first category is very low. For getting first category you need to come under rank 20k. You will get admission for second category. But chances for getting admission in cse and ece for second category is also low. You will get admission in Chennai campus for third category for cse and ece. This is based on previous year trends.
