Dear Aspirant, VIT university conducts its own exam called VITEEE. You have to appear for VITEEE and then the university will release your AIR in VITEEE exam and then you would get shortlisted for various branches available at VIT according to your rankings and then only you would be called

Sorry to say but with this score your chances of getting selected in vit is quite low . From the previous years cutoffs it is quite hard for you to get vit .But you can definitely wait for the result as it can be changed for this year .

See just qualifying any of the engineering entrance exams in the country doesnt provide u a seat in any of the college to pursue ur btech career. For getting mechatronics u should be scoring a min score to get a seat in the Vellore campus. U might score

• Journalism and mass communication.
• Law.

For this rank you have no chance to get CSE in VIT vellore campus because based on the previous year closing rank you mostly have no chances in 1st Category. Anyways you have chances to get in second category. But for this rank you could get ECE,

There are three category for fees based on your VITEEE rank

Fees for diffrent cateogery are 

Cateogry 1- tution fees 195000+ 3000 caution deposite

Category 2-tution fees 304000+3000 caution deposite

Cateogry 3- tution fees 402000+3000 caution deposite 

These are fees after adjusted after scholorship based on the rank.

The result for entrance examination VITEEE conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology will be released in the last week of April 2019 (tentatively on 25th April).

Hi Aditya, you have a decent rank and you may secure a seat in the Vellore campus. I cant assure about the cse branch yet you can still go for it. You may get it in the second or 3rd category. But in the 1st category you will definately get

accoding to previous years trend To get admission at VIT vellore for Computer Science and engineering you need to score almost of 85+ above or 5000-6000 rank almost to be on safer side..Cutoff may be increase Or decrease this year..But you are on border so be hopeful.
