Those who apply for UPSEAT exam 60% aggregate marks in 12th or equivalent mpc.those who apply through Intermediate merit basis should score 80% marks in 12th or equivalent exam or 80% in PCM.More information and previous year cut offs you can know with below link:

As it is not possible to tell you the exact number of students who appear for UPESEAT {UPES Engineering Aptitude Test} exam. Every year more than 20,000 students appear for this exam. Don't worry about the last rank till which admission will be given. Just focus on your preparation.

Upsc generally notify about the merit list of candidate which are elligible with their scorecards only. 

So,  if there is no name of your in meritlist your are not eligible for it and just try another time as there are many chance given by them

To apply for the upes examination you have to register on their official website, and then you will get an option to fill out the personal details, fill them. Then upload the pictures ( your signature and photo). Then pay the qplapplicat fee and it's done.
