Yes, you can do M Tech in Environmental management.

Current status of M tech in Environmental engineering  is

Most of Post graduation as of M tech, institutes are not well adequate about teaching and providing thorough knowledge about the branch.

This branch awareness has grown but Institutes only suck money but never give you exposure to industry and placements.

Suppose you complete Mtech but getting jobs is highly difficult because of no field knowledge and for design, you don't have experience.

Anyhow if you get jobs what shall be salary .it's less than b tech fresher gets  ..around 10k-15k.

I prefer you do Post graduation in Environmental engineering either from IIT or Abroad (MS)

The only advantage of doing M tech is you can go for teaching line and pursue PhD and PhD will depend upon guide selection and research arena.

These all above are facts and if you want to know exactly .. Visit all alumnus and ask their opinion.

You have a decent score since the cutoff is considered to be 30 out of 120 but for OU this may be insufficient. It is one of the top colleges initiating the exam and considering the number of seats and number of candidates who appear for the examination, chances are a little less that you'll get get the college. But you can definitely try out for other colleges like

• Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology 
• JNTU college of Engineering 
• CSI Institute of Technology 
• Deccan college of Engineering and Technology

TS PGECET General Eligibility 

Nationality: candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Domicile: Telangana domiciled with certificate proof for the same.

Local/non-local status: The local/non-local status of the candidate must be satisfied as per the admission requirements.

Non-Indian candidates: candidates which are not of Indian National should fulfill the rules defined by the respective university.

Educational Qualification: Engineering/ architecture/ pharmacy graduates with 50% aggregate marks for general category and 45% for SCs, STs.

Age limit: There is no upper age limit for appearing for PGECET 2019 for the self-financed students. For a Fee Reimbursement maximum age for SC/ ST/ BC candidates is 34 years and for Minorities /Disabled/EBC the age limit is 30 years.

Most probably the syllabus remains the same.
