The closing rank ( general) for your category was nearly 23000 in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderbad  and 19000 in Osmania University. Since your rank is far better than the closing ranks, therefor you can choose any of the two colleges along with the course of ypur choice.

As you mention you rank with your rank it is difficult to get college like O.U  and JNTUH because in this college candidate are  first selected  by GATE examination  or rank and then the vacancy on left seat   filled with ts pgecet rank... so  competition  are very high among ts pgecet rankers.. so it is difficult

But there are some colleges where you can try:-

Congratulations on your result. With your rank of 28 in PGECET you may get Instrumentation Branch in Osmania University,Hyderabad. You can participate in counselling procedure fr TS PGECET by online appliation. The counselling would happen tentatively on 3rd or 4th week of July. Hope this answer was helpful.

So you have got a rank of 849 in Civil branch TS PGECET 2019. The lowest cut off marks for closing rank of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad for General category was 98 and 112 for the opening rank. For SC category, the range of marks between that of opening and closing ranks are 96 to 61 respectively. For ST category, the range of marks between that of opening ranks and closing ranks are 89 to 54. If you have scored between these marks then you have a chance for admission in JNTUH. Yes you can apply for it as your rank is quite good. If you have any reservation then that would be more helpful for you as the college is one of the top college.

Other than General  category if you have any other reservation thet will also help like state quota.

ya your rank is good my be u can get addmission in JNTU 80% chance but not osmania because of that mostly M.tech seat is fulfilled by the gate candidates.

manish singh is missing some information if you are local candidates its welcome because of that 85% seat are reserverd for local candidates other wise your belong out of telangana thn you will fight in 15% seat.
