National Aptitude Test in Architecture
Dear student,
You can go for any of the two exams and after qualifying you can get a college and pursue this course but there are few differences between these two examinations you should be aware of.
See, by giving JEE Main paper 2 you can get the reputed institutes NITs and GFTIs but it comes with the cost of slightly being more competitive than NATA exam. And JEE Main is known for its difficulty then you can easily expect that in this aspect too, JEE Main Paper will be on little tougher side than NATA paper.
You can get to pursue B.Arch course in the NITs like NIT Calicult, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Jaipur, NIT Nagpur etc, whereas by NATA you can get reputed collges like Jadavpur University, Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation University, Guntur, MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, SRM University Chennai etc.
So now, I hope you can make the wise decision.

Dear Manu,
Your question is not very clear to me. Which examination you are asking about? I suggest you to comment the name of the so that i can help you if i m aware of it, or you can ask it as a new question so that our members or experts can help you accurately.
Different colleges have different mode of examination, some takes in online mode while some takes in offline mode. But this year due this nasty pandemic all the exams have been forced in online mode or some are even not being held as it is not easy to conduct online examinations too until the situation is completely under control.
I will recommend you to visit the official site of the college you are seeking admission for, there you may find the previous year placement details of that college.
I hope this information helps you.
All the best!!
hi,
see MES college of engineering is one of the oldest self finance engineering college at kerala. college offers admission to 5 years of duration of b.arch course. the total seat intake is 40.
the eligibility criteria is candidates must complete 10+2 course with mathematics, physics and chemistry as compulsory subject from a recognize education board. it is mentioned in the official site of MES college is that candidates must have the minimum cutoff declared by the board or council by post nata exam. The Qualifying marks (out of 200) is created on post-exam statistics and at the disposition of the Board/Council. nata 2021 qualifying cutoff is 70. since you have scored more than 70 you are eligible to apply.
now merit list will be prepared analyzing the applicant profile, academic score and nata score. however it is difficult to predict since the cutoff score varies every year depends on no of applicant, students performance etc.
so my suggestion is apply for multiple college to get best possible outcome.
hope it helps.
Hello candidate,
If you are studying bachelors in architecture then the most important think which comes into consideration under any perspective is the college from which you are graduating.
A good college college actually creates a great portfolio in the future, and depending on that it get better future options while pursuing your masters or any specialisation degree.
Good Luck!!
Hi Aspirant,
Considering your 12th board %, you are eligible for admission into B. S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute Of Science And Technology since from their eligibility requirement Candidates should have passed 10 +2 examination (HSC/ CBSE /ISC etc.) or any other equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% of Marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with English as one of the compulsory subjects. Now considering your NATA score, according to college notice, Candidates for B.Arch programme are selected through counselling based on the rank secured in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and in the qualifying examination. So it's a bit complicated to assume your ranking and admission eligibility based on your NATA score. However you can use the method if you are a CBSE student: Since your admission through NATA is based on your merit system. Divide the NATA score by 4, and your CBSE result by 2, and add them to find your merit out of 100. Normally colleges accept a student who has 60+ merit overall, and sometimes colleges even go for lower merit. Your merit is coming to a total of 55.5 which does give you very low chance in B. S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute Of Science And Technology. Give it a try.
You can also use the official website of the college for more information on eligibility criteria and others,

Hope this helps.
Good luck!!!
