National Aptitude Test in Architecture
Hi
NATA is conducted by the council of architecture and is mandatory for admission into first year B.Arch courses across all the colleges and institutes in India.
Whereas JEE (AAT) is conducted by national testing agency and is mandatory for getting admission into B.Arch program offered by IITs.

Various Institutes of architecture across india have eligibility mentioned as NATA/JEE. While IIT has only JEE mentioned in their criteria. Moreover it is mandatory to clear both JEE mains and JEE advanced for getting into IITs for B.Arch.
NATA is widely accepted by colleges offering this programmes whereas AAT is an entrance exam for admissions to architecture programmes offered by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
So it depends on where you want to apply or get admission into so choose accordingly.

Hi, considering your NATA marks it is very difficult to get into Mcgan's ooty school of architecture. You can always give it a shot. It is difficult to say whether which college will take admissions at this score because the cut-offs are not officially released. You can check the below article to find your match. Hope this helps.

See in the official website for both the examination, there were no restrictions for sitting in multiple counsellings. So you can appear for the NATA counselling simultaneously without any doubt. You should keep in mind that through counselling when you choose the college you must be very keen about the course you want to choose. If you are really interested in BARCH then going through NATA will be the best thing for you and you can try out in EAMCET as well in order to have a safe side as well.
