No. NITs don't accept only NATA scores. NITs take admission through JoSAA for which JEE exam is compulsory. If you are aiming for B-Arch admssions, then you have to write Paper 2 in JEE Main.

According to the NATA-2019 notification, any student who have passed or appearing in 10+2 exam must have scored 50% in Physics, 50% in Maths, 50% in Chemistry and also 50% in aggregate.

NITs take admission through JEE Main exam (paper 2 if you are looking for B-Arch admissions). They don't accept only NATA scores. As far as other government colleges go, there are colleges that accept NATA scores:

Indian Institue of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur

Jadavpur University, Kolkata

Andhra University College

 NATA and JEE MAINS  have got no connection. NATA is a test for students wanting to persue architecture as their career while JEE is for engineering and B.sc students. If you want to have a career in architecture and you have scored well in NATA you will obviously get admission

Sir, l appeared for jee mains paper 2 ,2019 Jan. Is it compulsory for me to qualify NATA to get seat in Architecture at NIT.

Hi RUPA.,

To get into architecture at nit only jee mains -paper 2 is sufficient,  NATA isn't necessary to get an admission in b. Arch @NIT.

NIT ROURKELA is the best nit for architecture.

Hello Amruth,

Admission to RV is on the basis of NATA score. A score above 80 is required for RVCA. A score of 100 is safe and anywhere around 120 to 140 will make your case stronger to get admission in RVCA.

Hello Manju, 

Yes,  the second attempt results will be out in July. But don't worry because KCET will have a second counseling in July for the students who didn't get a chance in the first counseling. You can carry your relevant documents on the day you attend the second counseling.
