Yes, science is compulsory in 10+2 for NATA.

The candidate must have passed 10+2 exam and scored minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also in aggregate.

It all depends on the particular school or college you are taking admission in through NATA. NATA has no concern with this. The fees paid are non reimbursable. But college may refund some part of the fees excluding some identity card fees, etc. So contact the administration of school/college.
