I did my Diploma in Civil Engg. then join L&T as a JET and worked here for 3 years in Supervisory cadre And now I am doing my bachlors in Civil engg. will my Work Ex count in IIM or not?? Does work ex only counts after graduation??

Sudip Bandopadhyay 30th Jun, 2022

Hi Shohil,

Hope You are doing well !

To answer your question, YES, your work experience counts even if it is before graduation. As long as it is full time, and is more than a year, it is considered, and obviously plays in your favor during the selection process of IIM's.

Hope I answered your query.

Thank you.
