I got 80marks in jeecup 2019 should I get government college this year. I belong SC category

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 30th Jul, 2020

Hello,

Total score of JEECUP is 400. your score is 20% of total score which is very close to expected cutoff for SC category (70-72). There is very less chance to get government college even through reservation category.

You have to list out the college option as per your score and apply for it.  if your rank is below 50k then you can apply for government college. for top government college, Your rank should be below 5000.

There are 3 rounds in counselling process. so there is good chances to get a college option. You have to choose college option very carefully. Keep one college option for security.

hope it helps!

Is question paper of jeecup group I easier than question paper of jeecup group A?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 22nd Jun, 2020
Hello,

Question paper in all sets and groups are equally tough.Level if questions are evenly distributed ranging easy, moderate and tough. You will get mixed review by various aspirants. Some would consider it easy while some consider my tough depending upon their level of preparation. So, it doesn't matter which group you are in the level of questions will be equally fair and common among all.You should focus on your preparation rather than thinking about these things.

Most popular and recommended books for JEECUP are

  • Uttar Pradesh Polytechnic JEEEC by Arihant Publications

Question paper of Jee and JEECUP will consist of syllabus of maths, physics and chemistry. Both have almost similar syllabus. You just need to give atleast 4-5 hours per day for preparation (excluding school/coaching hours).

Thank you.
