How can I calculate my polycet rank card with marks

Poludasari Akhila 5th Aug, 2025

You can predict your AP POLYCET rank by using the marks vs rank table on Careers360. For example, scoring between 115 and 120 marks may give you a rank between 1 and 20. If you score 110 to 115, your rank might be 21 to 100. Similarly, 100 to 105 marks roughly equals rank 200 to 1000, and 90 to 100 marks may give rank around 1000 to 2000  . Careers360 also offers a COLLEGE PREDICTOR tool where you can enter your estimated marks and category details to see which colleges and branches are likely for you  . This helps plan counselling choices and know realistic seat options.

My sister got 89 percentile in jee mains, EWS category, can she get any government college?

Akansha Sharma 1st Jun, 2025

With 89 percentile in JEE Mains and EWS category, your sister has a fair chance to get admission in some government colleges, especially newer or lower-ranked NITs and GFTIs. Top NITs may be difficult, but state engineering colleges and some good government-funded institutes accept EWS category students with this percentile.

She should participate in counseling, apply broadly, and check cutoff lists carefully. Also, keep improving her rank if possible for better options next time !

I got 91.38 percentile in jee mains which collage i will get

OISHEE BANERJEE 14th Jun, 2025

Hello aspirant,

With 91.38 percentile in JEE Main, your approximate CRL rank would be around 85,000 to 95,000, depending on the session and overall number of test-takers. This is a decent score, and you do stand a fair chance of getting into some NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs, especially in lower-demand branches or through the Home State quota.

If you belong to a reserved category like OBC, SC, or ST, your chances improve significantly. You may get core branches like Mechanical, Civil, or Metallurgy in newer NITs or branches like Information Technology, ECE, or even CSE in some IIITs or GFTIs in the later rounds of counselling.

The exact college depends a lot on your category, home state, and branch preference.

Depending on your category and state more accurate suggestions on which colleges and branches could be possible.

Thank you !

kumardurgesh1802 24th May, 2025

Hello there,

For JEE Advanced, the syllabus for B.Tech and B.Arch students is largely the same in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, but B.Arch candidates also have an additional section on Aptitude and Drawing.

Topics likely to be asked:

  • Physics: Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Optics, Modern Physics, Thermodynamics

  • Chemistry: Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry

  • Mathematics: Algebra, Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, Trigonometry, Vector and 3D Geometry

  • Aptitude (for B.Arch): Visualization skills, 3D perception, Architectural awareness

  • Drawing (for B.Arch): Drawing and sketching related to architecture and building forms

Preparation tips:

  1. Master NCERT textbooks thoroughly as a base.

  2. Solve previous years’ JEE Advanced papers and mock tests.

  3. Focus on problem-solving speed and accuracy.

  4. For B.Arch, practice drawing and aptitude tests regularly.

  5. Time management and conceptual clarity are key.

  6. Join coaching or online courses if needed, especially for drawing and aptitude.

In summary, the core syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, and Maths is the same for both B.Tech and B.Arch, but B.Arch has additional Aptitude and Drawing sections in JEE Advanced. Prepare accordingly.
