jee main 2025 air 6068 (st) cse ai & data science (b tech) in which college can i get seat? Specially in west bengal

OISHEE BANERJEE 20th Jun, 2025

Alright, so with a JEE Main 2025 All India Rank of 6,068 in the ST category and your interest in B.Tech in CSE with AI & Data Science, you’re actually in a pretty solid position, especially if you're looking at colleges in West Bengal.

First off, IIIT Kalyani should definitely be on your radar. It’s one of the top technical institutes in the state and takes JEE Main scores through JoSAA counselling. For ST category, the cutoff for CSE usually goes somewhere around 7,000 to 8,000 in AIR, and since your rank is 6,068, you fall nicely within that range. If they have specializations like AI or Data Science as part of the core or elective structure, you're in a good place to grab one of those seats.

Now if you’re looking beyond the centrally funded institutes, Haldia Institute of Technology is also a decent option. They offer specializations like AI and ML, and in recent years the closing ranks for such branches have gone pretty high; way beyond your rank, so you’re definitely in the safe zone there too. Same goes for options like IEM Kolkata, Techno India, and even Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology if you're open to broader CSE or IT streams where AI related electives can be chosen later.

Basically, you're well positioned to secure a good seat. Keep your preferences sharp during counselling, especially in JoSAA and maybe WBJEE if you're considering state counselling too. Hope for the best!

My tnr (tamil nadu rank) is 330 in stream 1 (jee + boards). Will i get btech cse or btech cse(s) or btech IT in sastra university thanjavur?

OISHEE BANERJEE 20th Jun, 2025

Hey, that’s an awesome TNR – 330 in Stream 1 is seriously impressive! Based on past trends at SASTRA University, you’re in a really strong position for admission into top branches.

With that rank, getting B.Tech CSE is almost guaranteed. SASTRA fills its seats in Stream 1 mostly through JEE Main score combined with board marks, and ranks under 500 typically get the most in-demand courses, especially in the first round itself.

As for CSE (Specialization) – like CSE with Data Science or AI – it’s usually just a bit more competitive than core CSE, but you’re comfortably within range for that too. These specializations are in high demand, but they don’t usually close before rank 400–500, so you're safe.

B.Tech IT is even more accessible with your rank, so if for any reason you wanted that as a backup, it's definitely going to be available. But with your TNR, you should be aiming right at CSE or CSE with specialization.

I get air 232619 in neet 2025 assam state can I get government mbbs/bams/veterinary seat through north east quota

lisa 1st Jul, 2025

With an All India Rank (AIR) of 232619 in NEET 2025, securing a government MBBS seat in Assam, especially under the North East quota, is highly unlikely. For MBBS, the competition is intense, and government colleges typically have cutoffs much higher than your rank. However, there's a slightly better chance with BAMS or veterinary seats, but it still depends on the specific college and category.

Can I get BTech Comuter Science Branch at 600k jee mains Rank Kindly Guide me

Previa Gayu 23rd Jun, 2025

With a JEE Main rank of six lakh you will not be eligible for admission into top central institutes like IIT NIT or IIIT as their closing ranks for CSE are usually within the first one lakh For example closing rank for CSE at NIT Trichy was around two thousand nine hundred and for CSE at IIITs it ranged between ten thousand to twenty six thousand For branches like AI or data science even lower rank cuts off at four thousand to four thousand Make your own search shows that colleges outside these national level institutes such as private state colleges or lesser known deemed universities may offer computer science seats to candidates with ranks near six lakh These colleges often have lower cutoff requirements and fill seats under management or state quotas To get a seat you should explore private institutes in states like Maharashtra or Karnataka that accept higher ranks Be aware that these seats may come with higher fees compared to government colleges

Can I get BTech Comuter Science Branch at 600k jee mains Rank Kindly Guide me

OISHEE BANERJEE 29th Jun, 2025

With a JEE Main rank of around 6 lakh, getting B.Tech in Computer Science (CSE) in NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs through JoSAA is very unlikely, even with reservation.

However, you can still get CSE in some private engineering colleges or state-level colleges that either accept low JEE ranks or conduct their own counselling. Some newer or less competitive private colleges may offer CSE under management or spot rounds. If you're open to paying higher fees or considering tier-3 colleges, you can still pursue CSE.

So yes, you may get CSE, but not in top government colleges with this rank.

949 obc ncl and 3438 crl rank jee architecture paper which nit I may get? spa Vijayawada possibility?

OISHEE BANERJEE 17th Jul, 2025

With a JEE Main Paper-2 CRL rank of 3438 and OBC-NCL rank of 949, you have a fair shot at some top architecture colleges.

SPA Vijayawada:
You stand a good chance here. Previous years show OBC-NCL closing ranks around your range, especially in Round 2 or 3. So yes, SPA Vijayawada is possible.

NITs to focus on:

  • NIT Hamirpur: Safe. Cutoffs often go well beyond 5000 CRL.

  • NIT Raipur / Patna: Possible. Both have closed around 3900–4000 CRL in recent years.

  • MANIT Bhopal: Slightly tough but worth trying.

  • NIT Rourkela, Calicut, Nagpur: Unlikely. These usually close much earlier.

With 86.34 percentile in mhtcet and 72 percentile in jee mains is there any possibility for any branch in bharti vidyapeerh

Anushree Thakare 5th Jul, 2025

Hello student,

With an 86.34 percentile in MHT CET and a 72 percentile in JEE Mains, it's unlikely you'll get a highly competitive branch like Computer Science or Information Technology at Bharati Vidyapeeth, especially through the All India quota.

However, you might have a chance for other branches like Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil, particularly if you are from Maharashtra and apply through MHT CET, as it holds more weight for state colleges.

You should read these articles to get more information about the college and cutoff for each course:
