my fathers spelling is different on my 12th marksheet unlike on my adhar(parentage) and his adhar,he cant change it cuz then he would have to change many things. so do i need to change it before applying for JEE? what if i change it only on my adhar??

Rohan 22nd Apr, 2025

You don't need to change your father's name on your 12th marksheet for JEE, as long as the discrepancy is clear and explained in your documents.

  • For JEE application , ensure consistency between 12th marksheet and Aadhaar .

  • If you change it only on Aadhaar , it might cause issues if you're asked to provide proof. It's best to keep both documents consistent.

  • Well-established, good for engineering, law, management, etc.

Rohan 21st Apr, 2025

With a 97.82 percentile in JEE Mains and applying for the CSE branch under the general category , your chances for admission to top NITs , IIITs , or GFTIs are quite good.

  • For CSE , top NITs and IIITs typically have a cutoff within the top 10,000-20,000 ranks, so you should be in contention for a seat in good NITs/IIITs .

Mere 70 number in jee main , can i get better college

Rohan 21st Apr, 2025

With a score of 70 in JEE Main , securing a seat in top NITs or IIITs for competitive branches like CSE is unlikely. However, you can still try for GFTIs , new NITs , or state quota seats.

Possible Options:

  • GFTIs may have relatively lower cutoffs.

  • Some new NITs and IIITs might offer seats depending on the category and specific cutoff trends.

  • You can also consider applying through state quota or management quota for some institutes.
