Qualifying cutoff for appearing in JEE Advanced for General category is 89.7548849.  You are not eligible to appear for JEE Advanced if you belong to General category.

Hello Aspirant. 

You can change your category as you will have to fill the application form again when you are applying for JEE Advance .At that time you can fill the form for EWS section but you must have a certificate for that .At the time of form fill up

Is subject wise cutoff is calculated separately for morning and afternoon shifts or sum of both shifts for jee advanced.

Hello Jaya ,

Subject cutoff are calculated by adding both morning shift paper and afternoon shift paper of that subject marks for JEE advance.also if marks are negative in one paper then all over marks also get reduced.

Considering Your rank 1,69,273 and you come under the general category, unfortunately, you are not eligible for JEE Advanced. As the cutoff rank for General category is approximately 1,00,000 to 1,25,000.

You can try for GFTIs, your state colleges and Private colleges in which you can get your

Dear Rehan, 

Yes there is a possibility. If you are in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards,then you are also eligible for it. 

As stated by the NTA

If you have given your 12th Examination this year and have attempted first time JEE Mains and JEE Advanced, then you are surely eligible for next year to appear forJEE Mains and JEE Advanced.

And you must also satisy this condition to get admission in NITs and IITs.
