Hey don't worry u are qualified for advanced ....... What the other guy is telling you seems to be false ..... Because as u Belong to sc category,cut of is 54 percentile..... So go apply and write your iit exam

You will top the exam if you scored 50% in all both of the paper of JEE Advance.

JEE Advance is comparitively tough than JEE Mains .You should not take it light .The level of the question are sometimes beyond the imagination of normal candidate.

You are not elligible for JEE ADVANCE under general category.Your percentile must be 89.76 under general category. Chance of getting government engineering college is very less.You should look for another engineering entrance examination.

The students who have qualified JEE Mains can give JEE Advanced in case where the boards results have not yet been given to them.

But by the time of counseling, all the students get their boards results and hence, it can be analysed easily.
