Yes you are eligible as For admission to IITs, candidatesof General and OBC categories must have secureda minimum of 75% aggregate marks in their Class XII board examination (or equivalent).SC, ST, and PwD candidates should secure 65% in the exam.

Hi aspirant

If ou have such a situation then you should focus on your subject i.e maths.

How you can say that you are failed in Boards in maths subject and you can qualify JEE mains and Advance whose maths questions are much more tough than Boards.This is really hypothetical

Hello!!

You have to score minimum 75 percent to qualify JEE mains in 12th board exams . But as per your category there is a relaxation of 10 percent therefore you have to score 65 percent . As you have scored 72 percent thus you have already qualified the JEE

Jee mains 2019 SC category cut off percentile is 54.0128155 so you are eligible for jee advance 2019 if you are getting above this percentile which I had mentioned above. So congratulation for qualifying in jee advance and best of luck towards our team.

The application process will start from 3rd may 2019 to 9th may 2019.


The cut off for EWS category is :78.2174 %ile.

I have 40000 rank in JEE Mains(2019) in SC category will I be able to give JEE Advance(2019)

Hi aspirant

If your all India rank in JEE mains is 40,000 then you will be eligible for JEE Advance.

But if your category rank in SC is 40,000 then you won't be able to qualify for JEE advance.

  • For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria are to secure 65% marks in class XII or equivalent exam.

For a candidate to be eligible for the counseling through josaa one must have cleared jee majns, the marks of class 12 has to be greater than 75 percent. If you have cleared jee advanced you can get admission into IIT and on the based on jee mains
