IIEST institute accept admission through jee main rank not by jee advanced ranking.Admission are done on the basis of jee main ranking through JOSAA counselling or through CSAB counselling.

You have appeared in boards in 2018 or 2019 and your result declared is after june 2019/2018.

You can appear in JEE Advance two times in consecutive years.One the year you passed 12th and the other year after one year.

Yes I believe it might be a problem.

Though algorithm of JEE advanced selecting the exam centre for a candidate is not very known but I believe consideration of district and state must be taken for they selecting your exam centre.

Sp I would urge you to rectify your error

Hello,

As specified by board once registration is done you can't change it. JEE main Regiistration is used on behalf of JEE Advance so if your JEE main doesn't have the category you want then it won't be changed any more.

So the rank you have got for general category

I am really sorry to say but with 2548 SC Category rank in JEE Advanced 2019, you won't get a seat in any of the NITs.
Hence it would be better for you to drop one year and take off with better preparation.

Congrats on securing a great rank Sumanth, with a rank of 3203 any IIT will be possible for you if you don't have a preferred branch or location. 

Coming to IIST, it maybe a bit tough because the number of seats is less in that college ( just 140 )
