Jee advanced 2019 getting 175 marks what rank can i expect?

Anurag pal Student Expert 1st Jun, 2019

Most probably 175 marks will get you a percentile of 96% so we calculate the rank out this percentile and no. of students appeared are approx 250000. therefore

100-96= 4

and, 4×250000÷100= 10000.

so we see with these marks your rank may fall from 9000 to 10000 depending upon no.

I have not registered myself for jee advance then where I have to upload my ews certificate as I wrote jee mains with this category

Lakshay 1st Jun, 2019
Hi Urmi.
As EWS category is started this year only , we can't say much about the process.
But as it just another category like the other ones , I guess the procedure will be the same.
For OBC , sc , St certificates ,  you don't have to upload

I am an st candidate.i got 60 marks in jee advanced and i have qualified every sub. Can i get any seat in iit?

Manish vaibh 1st Jun, 2019

Hello Sam

You can't be able to get admission in any IIT because according to jee advanced every category has its an overall cutoff out of 360.

  • General 35%
  • OBC NCL 31.5%
  • SC 17.5%
  • ST 17.5%

So, you have to score atleast 63 marks out of 360 for qualify jee

rajaman9300 Student Expert 1st Jun, 2019

Hello Tejaswani

For sure it will be more than 10,000(Considering last year cutoff's) and you might not even clear the cutoff as most of the coaching insyitutes are saying that many students have done really well and cutoff will only drop by 5 or 6 marks .( last year cutoff

According to the guidelines issued by the counselling authority, in case of a withdrawal Seat acceptance fee will be refunded to you after deducting the processing charges of Rs 1500. Read JOSAA's refund policies for more details.

Every one saying that 2019 JEE Advanced Paper is very hard.. .. wht about your opinion.. and what could be the top score in 2019 JEE ADV..

Lakshay 1st Jun, 2019
Hi BNS.
In my opinion , JEE advanced 2019 was a well designed paper with all questions being in the category of moderate to difficult and very less questions being in the easy category.
I would say that the chemistry and maths were moderate and physics was on the trickier

S. Abhishek Sagar 16th Dec, 2020

Hello aspirant.

If you have scored very good marks in JEE Advanced and failed to get the minimum cutoff marks in any one of the subjects then you won't get qualified advanced. Even you score very good marks but if you fail to score minimum cutoff marks in each subject,
