According to your jee main percentiles you are eligible for jee advanced as per record of last year cut off.
Now it depends on your 12 board marks
If you get  65% or more marks in 12th class then you are eligible for jee advanced.

The closing ranks for various courses varies every year.According to JEE Advanced 2019 the closing ranks for Mechanical Engg for various categories are given below :

IIT Kharagpur :

Hi there,
According to your marks. You can qualify for jee mains if you belong to sc Or st category. For general the score is 90 percentile and for obc it's 82 percentile. As per previous years cut offs.

Hello Aspirant,

As you got 95.7 percentile in JEE-Main 2020 January session according to which you rank wil be near about 38,000. On the basis of this rank you cannot secure seat in any good NIT.

I would suggest you some tips which will prepare you for securing 99 percentile

suppose if i got 75 percent in class 12 cbse 2020 and suppose my name comes in top 20 percentile students . will get NIT or IIT without jee main and jee advance?

Hi Kartik

No, it's a big no , 75% marks in the board examination , just make you eligible for getting admission in NITs or IITs but admission is not provided on the basis of marks in 12th board examination.

You cannot get a seat in NITs without qualifying JEE

Hi there,

I am sorry to say that your percentile score is very low in order to qualify for jee advance in general category.

You need to score around 91 percentile to qualify for jee advance. Prepare harder for April session since u have much time due to corona break

Hello Aspirant,

Since, you are already preparing for JEE mains and you have good percentile in JEE already in January attempt and you have already qualified for JEE advance.Now you should move in to book that are specialized for JEE advance.
