I cleared jee main with 67 percentile and qualified to jee advanced as I am sc candidate but I decided not to write jee advanced as I got maximum 40 marks in jee main and and I wished to join iisc but after seeing cutoff I thought I cannot get that high rank. tell me whether my decision is write

Based on the previous year data and accornding to cut-off trends your chances to get any NIT or IIIT are very-very low. Go through the cut-off article of respective NIT's and IIIT's .Their links are given below .

Dear Aspirant,

Well it usually depends on the branch,but to get admission in IITB your rank must be in the range of 1-4.5k as the last rank for the least branch was 5k.But wait till the official cutoff list gets released.
