The marks and percentile depends on the difficulty of the paper that we cannot predict. But with the score of 40 the percentile may be very less due to high competition. But keep checking and trying for other exams too. Choose good with a hope.

But the cuttoff in obc category is in between 75 to 87 percentile. As you scored 70 percentile in your first attempt your score may increase in the second attempt for sure. So try your level best in the second attempt

The syllabus of jee advance is too much and this year you are not given 1 month gap in between jee mains and jee advance.so it's difficult to read entrire PCM onces again.you can revise the chapters you already read and focus on revision and doing previous year
