You got 74.7677 percentile in jee mains which is greater then obc ncl cutoff (cutoff of obc category is 72.88 percentile).so you are eligible for jee advanced.

This year IIT delhi is conducting jee advanced. It has released the JEE Advanced application form for JEE Main qualified candidates. The application date is from 14 sep to 17 sep.

I have cleared jee mains 2020 from my category cutoff but I am not in top 250000 students. so can I give jee advance? As written on site you should be in top 250000. My rank is 260000. please give me accurate answer. I will be very thankful

The cutoff percentile of General category to qualify for JEE Advanced 2020 is 90.3765335. If your percentile score in JEE Main is greater than or equal to this cutoff percentile, you are eligible to sit for JEE Advanced 2020.

There is no need to check cutoff rank. NTA has released

Hello,

You have not mentioned your category. Cut off percentile is different for each category. NTA has published the JEE Main 2020 official cut off. The cut off is as follows

  • General: 90.3765335
  • OBC-NCL: 72.8887969
  • EWS: 70.2435518
  • SC: 50.1760245
  • ST: 39.0696101
  • PWD: 0.0618524

So, check the cut off. If you

Yes you are eligible for JEE advanced examination.

This is because,

You belong to sc category and qualifying cutoff of JEE mains to be eligible for JEE advanced for sc category is 50.1760245 percentile  and you have got more than that i.e 81 percentile, so you  are definitely eligible

You can easily change the password by following the given steps:

  • Visit the JEE Main official page and click on “ I can’t access my account
  • Now candidates finding trouble in signing in have to select – I forgot my Password or I forgot my application number

Yes, for sure.Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the minimum eligibility criteria of 75% marks of getting admission in IITs has been removed by NTA.So, candidates can get admission into IITs based on their JEE advance rank regardless of their 12th boards percentage.However this is only for 2020.

Dear candidate, you are eligible for giving Jee advanced as you have qualified the required cutoff jee mains for ews category and you have secured a good score. The required cutoff of ews category was around 70 percentile this year for ews category.
