I dont know to choose a college. is RVS college is best for BTech IT is it provides good placement

Akansha Sharma 23rd Dec, 2024

RVS College of Engineering and Technology offers BTech in IT, but its reputation and placement opportunities depend on factors like faculty, infrastructure, and industry connections. While the college has been known for providing a decent learning environment, the placements may not always match those of top-tier institutions. It's important to research alumni feedback, placement statistics, and industry tie-ups. You could also explore reviews or talk to current students to get a better idea of the college's placement record.

My JEE Percentile is 92.47 and the cut off for general is 93.23...am i eligible for any GFTI or not...or it is compulsorily required to qualify the jee advanced cutoff????

Akansha Sharma 24th Dec, 2024

Unfortunately, with a JEE Main percentile of 92.47, you do not qualify for the general cutoff of 93.23, making you ineligible for GFTIs through JoSAA counseling. Qualification for JEE Advanced is also compulsory for further opportunities like IIT admissions. However, you can explore private universities, state-level colleges, or direct admission in institutions that accept JEE scores but don’t require the qualifying cutoff. Some state counseling processes might still accept your percentile for local colleges.

agar koi 12 me jee mains and jee advance na de to vo second drop year me jee advance de sakta hai

Akansha Sharma 2nd Jun, 2025

Yes, if a student does not appear for JEE Main or JEE Advanced in Class 12, they can still give JEE in their second drop year. JEE Advanced allows only two attempts in two consecutive years after passing Class 12. So, if you pass 12th in 2024, you can appear for JEE Advanced in 2024 and 2025 only. If you skip both exams in 2024, you still have one chance left in 2025. Just make sure to meet all other eligibility rules.

i am riya a girl general candidate.i got 88 percentile can i fill jee advanced form because my rank is under 2lakh

Akansha Sharma 24th Dec, 2024

Hi Riya! Unfortunately, with 88 percentile as a General category candidate, you are not eligible to fill the JEE Advanced form. The eligibility requires meeting the JEE Main General cutoff (usually around 93+ percentile) and having a rank within the top 2.5 lakh candidates across all categories. Since you didn’t meet the cutoff, you cannot proceed for JEE Advanced. However, you can explore options in state-level colleges, private universities, or through other entrance exams.

How much marks do I need in JEE advanced for SC rank around 1000 and which colleges can I get with this rank?

Akansha Sharma 23rd Dec, 2024

To secure a SC rank around 1000 in JEE Advanced, you typically need around 60-70 marks, depending on the difficulty level of the exam and cutoff trends. With this rank, you may be eligible for some older IITs or new IITs for branches like Civil, Chemical, or Metallurgical Engineering. You could also consider NITs or IIITs for branches like Computer Science or Electronics, though getting top branches in IITs may be challenging with this rank.

Can I get an iit/ Which IIT with SC rank 1500?

Akansha Sharma 2nd Jun, 2025

With an SC rank of around 1500 in JEE Advanced, you have a good chance to get admission in some IITs, but top branches like Computer Science may be difficult. You can expect to get branches like Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Chemical in older or newer IITs. IITs like IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Gandhinagar, or IIT Hyderabad may have seats available for your rank. Keep checking counselling details and choose a branch you like. Stay positive and focused!
