Good day Sir, I have scored 66.4 percentage in class 12 boards, am i eligible for Jee main and further jee advanced ?

Lalit Kumar 8th Nov, 2024

Dear

According to the information yes, you can give the jee advance exam, but you are unable to get admission in any college with that which needs 12th aggregate pcm more than 66.4.

You can register yourself for the improvement exam so that you can improve your score and be eligible to take admission anywhere.

More than this you can use College predictor for finding best college according to your eligibility.

Thanks.

i do not have my passing certificate of 10th ssc so is it okay if i post my marksheet over there as the last date is near by i am getting confused as my form of jee advance can be rejected what are ur thoughts on this shall i post my marksheet certificate for advance

Lalit Kumar 23rd Nov, 2024

Dear

According to the information it's understandable that you're feeling anxious about this. While the passing certificate is usually a required document, many institutions accept the mark sheet as a provisional substitute, especially if the official passing certificate isn't available.

Here are a few steps you can take:

  1. Submit Your Marksheet : Go ahead and submit your 10th SSC mark sheet. It's important to not miss the deadline.

  2. Contact the Authorities : Reach out to the JEE Advanced authorities through their official helpline or email. Explain your situation and ask if the mark sheet can be accepted in place of the passing certificate.

  3. Request a Duplicate Certificate : If you have time, you can request a duplicate passing certificate from your school or the board that issued it.

Submitting your mark sheet should typically be accepted for initial processing, but make sure to follow up and confirm with the authorities. For finding the best college for you use College predictor .

Thanks.

I am pwd student not mentioned at jee main. my score 47 percentile. how can I enter in jee advance

Akansha Sharma 23rd Dec, 2024

Since you are a PWD (Person with Disabilities) candidate, your eligibility for JEE Advanced depends on meeting the cutoff criteria for PWD candidates, regardless of your JEE Mains percentile. Typically, candidates must secure a minimum percentage in JEE Mains to qualify for JEE Advanced. Since your percentile is 47, it might be below the usual cutoff, but you can still try for the next attempt by improving your score and ensuring you meet the necessary cutoff for PWD candidates. Keep an eye on official announcements.

if my sc rank is 1000 in jee advanced then what would be my crl rank

Lalit Kumar 3rd Dec, 2024

Dear

According to the information if your JEE Advanced rank is 1,000 in the SC category , your CRL (Common Rank List) rank would be significantly higher due to the category reservation. Typically, SC category ranks are converted to CRL ranks by adding the number of seats reserved for the general category to the SC rank.

For example, if there are 1,200 seats reserved for the general category, your CRL rank would be approximately 2,200 . However, the exact conversion can vary each year based on the number of candidates and seats available.

For finding the best college you deserve use College predictor tool.

is josaa counselling for all jee main candidates or only those who qualified for jee advance?

Hritik.maheshwari 3rd May, 2024

No in JoSAA Counselling, there are IIITs, NITs, GFTIs, IITs.
JEE Advanced score is only applicable to get admission into IIT. But to take admission into rest of the institutes.

My son NTA Score is 79.6224146 , OBC NCL 106990, is He eligible to JEE Advanced

shikhartiwari1206 5th May, 2024

May be not Because of high obc cutoff too he should have got more than 80

sir Im SC and I got 61% 12 th class from West Bengal higher secondary which is HOME STATE and I got 87% in jee mains and also eligible for jee advance ,, can i get any NIT from SC category??

Akansha Sharma 2nd Jun, 2025

Yes, since you belong to the SC category, scored 61% in 12th from West Bengal (your home state), and got 87 percentile in JEE Mains, you are eligible for JoSAA counseling. With 87 percentile and SC category, you have a chance to get admission in NITs, especially in lower or home-state quota branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Metallurgy in NIT Durgapur or other newer NITs. Fill your choices smartly and keep options open. You do have a good chance!
