The number of attempts(years) for JEE Main is three. And these are like this, first one is when you are about to pass the class 12th or just passed. And two more attempts in the next  two succeding  years.

It will be very difficult to say that what will be the cutoff of JEE Main 2021 and also out of total four sessions, only two sessions have been held yet. Hence, it will be very early to say confidently that you will be eligible for JEE Advanced

Before proceeding to this answer let me clear you one thing that IIITs do not entertain homestate reservation. There is no reservation like OBC, SC/ST or any other kind but there is not any special benefit for homestate students too in cutoff or admission in IITs.

Your first target should be to achieve a good percentile in jee mains so that uh can secure a seat in some NIT , for that you should practice at least one test paper of previous year daily since there is very short amount of time is left
