Hello Mukul,

I think that you should atleast give a sincere effort.There are a few students who just cracked the jee mains and then studied hard and secured a seat.It totally depends on your strategy and your method of preparation.Also as you are sc category cut offs would be low

If you are getting marks in 200 than you will have general rank in 5000. So it is a very good rank. The good  NITs where you can get CSE are-

Jaipur, nagpur, rouerkela, calicut, jamshedpur, patna,etcc... you have good chances of IT in warangal, surathkal, allahabad. And

Yes of course you elligible for the Jee advance it is good percentile . It is enough to appear in Jee advance .

But should try to increase  the percentile in Jee main April for better college through Jee main 2019  to take admission in top nit.

Yes,even if you haven't qualified for JEE Advanced 2019 but qualified JEE Main 2019 then you are eligible for Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSSA) counseling from which you can take admission in NITs . You would also be eligible to get admission in CFTIs and IIITs .You would

It is not necessary to clear for JEE Advanced to take part in JoSAA counseling. To be eligible for JoSAA counseling you just need to appear in JEE Main Paper-1 or Paper-2 or both. The only difference you have if you don't appear and clear for JEE Advanced is

If you have qualified for JEE Main ,then you would be available to  sit for Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSSA) counseling to get admission into NIT/IIIT and CFTIs .So,it won't matter whether you have qualified in JEE Advanced , clearing Advanced will only help you to get admission

Dear Bhavy, unfortunately you cannot change your General Category to EWS at this juncture. The correction window was your only chance at it. The merit list has bern prepared based on the Category you have chosen un JEE Mains. Now it cannot be changed during JEE Advanced after qualifying.
