Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS), Tamil Nadu offers degree, diploma, integrated and industry collaborated programmes to aspirants at the undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and doctorate (PhD) level. Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG & PG Courses
For admissions to UG programmes at HITS, students should have passed in plus two or equivalent with minimum 50% to 60% aggregate marks, depending on the programme.
Students can obtain admissions to HIT's PG programmes if they have a bachelors degree of minimum three years. The minimum aggregate marks required is 50%.
Note: Aspirants are advised to thoroughly go through the eligibility criteria as mentioned by HITS for the course in which they wish to secure admission.

According to AME CET cut off students can choose the AME institute in DGCA, Govt. of India. After getting the marks up to AME CET cut off 2019, students can choose the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Institute which DGCA Approved. The AME CET cut off of 2018 is 110 marks out of 360. The candidates who scores more than 115 marks are able to choose the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer institute.

At Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, the B tech fee structure ranges from INR 152000 per annum to INR 221500.For mechanical engineering it is INR 171000 tution fee, INR 53500 other fee and total fee would be INR 224500 per annum.

Hi Poojith,The HITSEE marks that determine the cut-off ranks differ from college to college depending on the number of applications they receive. You have a high rank, hence you definitely have a chance of securing the branch of engineering you desire, however in which colleges you will be eligible, you can only find out through the counseling process. I suggest you register for the counseling and see your options once they are available to you.Cheers.
Rajesh HITSEE score is accepted by many colleges and universities in India.As you have not mentioned your college priority I won't be able to clarify you about the college,but can assure you that your brother's rank in HITSEE is great and he definitely stand a good chance to get in the course(aeronautical engineering).I would suggest you to appear in the counselling.

1. A Pass in (10+2) or equivalent examination with a minimum average of 60% marks in Maths, Physics, & Chemistry.
