If you wil take admission through your TANCET score then your gate score is not valid,but if you are taking the admission in the same college with your gate score then you are eligible for the MHRD scholarship of Rs12,400 p.m.

There is very less chances for you to get VLSI at NITs.You should apply at state engineering colleges and at GFTIs .Even at NITs the cut off was more than 700 score for open category/OBC.Check out the cut off of these colleges:

If you are asking this question  now you might be a bit late because many of the PSUs have already taken registration and some of them might be taking.Few PSUs are conducting their own entrance exams.Its really important for all GATE aspirant to stay active after the GATE
