To get 40 marks in gate you need to refer past exam question papers. Practice and solve questions from past 20 to 25 years question papers. Focus on your strengths try to avoid new topics as they may kill your precious time.take mock test daily especially section like g.a and maths both are scoring subject but it needs practice.
With a disciplined approach and effective use of resources, you can maximize your chances of scoring above 40 marks in the GATE CSE exam. Stay focused, practice consistently, and believe in your preparation! Good luck!
It could be problematic to apply for GATE 2025 with an erroneous email address because the email is necessary for communication, updates, and login information. But you should be able to fix it, as you haven't confirmed it yet. How to fix this: Open the GATE 2025 Application Portal and log in. Please try logging in with your enrolment ID and password on the GATE application page. Look for the Edit Option: You can edit information such as your email address if the application correction window is open, which is usually notified following the registration deadline. Typically, candidates can amend personal information within the rectification window. Speak with GATE Support: Please get in touch with the GATE zonal office handling your application right away if you are unable to modify the email during the rectification period.
BCA students are not qualified to apply for GATE. On the other hand, individuals pursuing an MCA after completing their BCA are deemed qualified to sit for the GATE exams. It is argued that the BCA syllabus does not provide the solid basis in courses like physics and chemistry that M. Tech students need, which is why MCA is necessary. GATE exams are available to MCA students in their second and third year.
Hope it helps you

Hello Sridivya,
For the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) application, the guidelines usually specify that the photograph should have a white or light-colored background . If you have already applied with a blue background photo, it could potentially be an issue, as it does not meet the official criteria. What You Can Do:
Correction Window : GATE typically opens a correction window after the application submission period. You can use this window to upload a new photo that adheres to the guidelines. Keep an eye on the GATE portal for when the correction window opens.
Impact of Incorrect Photo : If the photograph is not as per the required specifications, it might cause delays or issues during the admit card issuance. It's advisable to upload a correct photo when the correction opportunity arises.
Contact GATE Authorities : If you're unsure, you can also contact the GATE helpdesk to confirm whether a blue background will cause an issue.
In short, if a correction window opens, you should upload a new photo with the correct background to avoid any complications.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
