The documents required for Gate registration are -

• Scanned photograph and signature
• Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
• For foreign students , Passport/ Govt. Issued ID/College ID/Employee ID will be the valid ID

PSUs recruit through GATE exam only. But this doesn't mean they must recruit. They take applicants only when seats are vacant. Vacancy notifications can be found in newspapers or internet. Look carefully for them. If it is not there, it means no vacancy was there
