About your query regarding branch upgradation to Computer Science, well you can pursue computer science in Mtech through GATE Only if you have given the GATE exam for CS and IT. Otherwise, you can't. That's a minimum requirement.

there is no subject in gate exam on health safety and environment. and in india there is not many colleges which offers this course. you can check gate official website. i have provided the link below-

Hello there ,hope you are doing well.Sorry to say but you can't because you need atleast your sixth semester mark list to apply for gate but if you want practice go for ace or Madeeasy test series or previous question papers.

Well if your branch is electrical engineering so it is better to give the Exam for the branch you studied for 4 years . Because you did your degree with the branch and you will be applicable to give gate through that branch only.Subjects will come from Electrical
