basically gate exam is based on 10-12 subjects of your full 4 years engineering course. so you may understand that you dont need to study the full syllabus of engineering. you have to follow the strictly gate syllabus and study accordingly. now mathematics and aptitude is common to all.

Hello there,

Yes, we can attempt the Gate exam in the 6 semester which falls in third year of engineering.

The gate exam usually takes place in February.

This change is made in this year and effective from this year onwards.
