To secure seats in old IITs for further studies you need at least 700 score under general category.But your score isn't enough to secure seats in IITs.This year paper of gate for electrical was easy in comaprison to last five years.Cuttoff marks for IITs may go high this year.For

Your expected rank is awesome,it is enough to get call from PSUs.To get call from PSUs one need at least 300 rank under general category for ECE.For sureity wait till all PSUs declare their cuttoff score.They will declare after declaration of gate score by IIT MADRAS.
