As per my knowledge and taking into consideration your rank it would be better if you go for lower colleges like visveswarya cmr institute of technology and other parallel colleges like that.
But there are various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
