REVIEW:
It is exactly as a vtu college is expected to be. Nothing less, nothing more. Tests you in all ways possible. Choose this if you are fine with struggling at each point in life. Let this be your last option. I feel other branches such as Mechanical engineering have a very good faculty.

College Infrastructure
Only good thing about the college is the infrastructure. Good, palace like looking college. But Wi-Fi not accessible everywhere. Library does not have enough books for all students. Parking is below average
Academics
No proper hands on training for students. Industrial visits are still below average. Still rely on old dictation method like school kids. We have to find internships on our own acquaintance.Definitely not job ready.
Placements
Placements for mechanical engineering students is very poor. Least number of companies are interested in hiring these graduates. most of the place to students are working either in IT sector or in low skill low paying industries. Mechanical are civil engineering students are totally left out.
Value-for-money
If you are joining through management quota the value for money is the least. No NCC, no extra curricular activities. No proper conduction of sports activities. No exposure to industry level Technology.
Campus Life
College transport is good. Faculty support is good. But all come down to students interest which is lowest. Even if you are into some music or some other arts, there is no such support for them. Infect all kinds of music festivals are banned. No freedom for students.
Anything Else
If you want to seriously learn anything using this engineering platform better go for good autonomous colleges in other parts of Karnataka II which are mostly research oriented even if the the fees are high.
