For Cgpet counselling you need to first register and fill the details in your application followed by paying the fees. After that you have to fill your choices for colleges and branch according to your preference and then you have to wait for your result. If you are selected then you have to go for document verification in the respective centres. If not selected then have to wait for round 2 list and this process continues. After verification of your documents you need to go to your respective college to confirm your admission.

These are some of the must have rule/tips to follow while filling choice in counselliing.If talk bout preference,it depends on yuor interest,in which branch you are interested and you can do your best.And for colleges,you should fill the colleges according to the ranking of colleges and based on your rank which college you can get with the rank you get.

Well, you may apply for the counseling process but at the time of documents verification in the alloted nodal center, you must produce your senior secondary pass certificate and marksheet issued by the recognised state board, otherwise your candidature may get rejected and you may not get admission.

Hello shoeb, your JEE Mains percentile is pretty decent but unfortunately your 12th grades are not that great and as per the eligibilty criteria for the CG Pet one should have passed in all the core subjects in 12th with minimum 45% percentage. But that does not end all the options available. One always have a choice so you can still look for some private college.

According to previous years cut-offs you may be able to secure a seat for computer science engineering in the Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus if you belong to any of the following categories - OBC, SC, ST. 

Cut-offs for all other categories close before your category rank, at least for computer science engineering stream. You may still be eligible for EEE, IT, Mechanical, etc.

Yes, Original marksteet of class 12 will be required during the document verification process of CGPET. Not only class 12 but all the documents required at the time of councelling of CGPET should be original. You also need to carry xerox copies of the original documents.
