Hello Sagar Makhija. Thanks for contacting Careers360 and we hope we will be able to answer your query.
I would like to direct your attention to this Careers360 article for more information about the syllabus for BITS HD:
Dear Shridhar,
Difficulty level of BITS HD is not that high in compare of GATE exam.
You need to brush up your concepts.
Solve previous year papers for BITS HD to understand the exam pattern and level of the exam and solve as many as mock test series for your practice.
1. Match all the criteria required for appearing for BITSAT, like 75% makrs in PCM, 80% marks over all and so on.
2. Appear for BITSAT, do your best and wait for the results to be out.
3. There is no rank list here, everything is based on your choices. They will give you a date to submit registration fee(which is nominal) and then fill in the choice of course and campus online.
4. Then after a set period of time, Administration will announce first round of allottments! Some students get their branches in first round itself, others might get their branches in following rounds!(I got mine in second round). They would ask you to confirm your admission.
5. It will be followed by second round of allotments! After which you will called to your subsequent campus (iterated to you in second round) for further completion of registration formalities(It is a 2 day process).
6. Once all the registrations are done, if their is scope, Authorities conduct third or fourth rounds of iterations!(this is rare)
